この春, お友達のこなつさんがマーカーの販売を始めました.
こなっちゃんが作るのは, 懐かしい気持ちになれる繊細で透明で宝物のようなマーカーです.

ダイヤーのおたまちゃんもお誘いし, 3人で手芸セットを作ることにしました.
この靴下はこなっちゃんのマーカーをイメージしてデザインした靴下です.

編んでいる間も編み終わった後も, マーカーを主役に楽しんでいただけたらうれしいです ; )

パターンノート
カフダウンの靴下. 輪針のマジックループを使用した方法で解説している. N1でふくらはぎ, かかと, 足底側, N2ではすね, 甲側を編む.
Basic typeかRuffle typeを選び, 履き口から輪で編む.
脚ではStitch Markers Stitchを編み, かかとはN1のみで往復編みをする. まちを作るためにかかとの両脇のすべり目を拾い, 輪編みを再開する.
N1ではメリヤス編みを続けながら2周毎に減らし目をし, N2でもメリヤス編みを始める.
つま先を編み, メリヤスはぎをする.
輪で編む場合はパターンに指示がなくてもBORMをSMしながら編むこと.

This spring, my friend Konatsu started selling stitch markers.
She creates delicate and transparent markers
that make you feel nostalgic and are like treasures.

We also invited our friend dyer to join us,
and the three of us decided to create a crafting kit together.
These socks were designed with Konatsu’s markers in mind.

I hope you enjoy the markers as the main feature while knitting
the socks, and even after you've finished them ; )

NEEDLES
1 x US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle (32” / 80 cm)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS
Markers, tapestry needle, scissors
Basic type only: Crochet hook (2.50 mm), removable marker
Ruffle type only: 1 x US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle (32” / 80 cm) (spare needle), waste yarn

GAUGE (after wet blocking, measured unstretched)
With US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle,
34 sts & 40 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
Stitch Markers Stitch: 30 sts = 3½” / 9 cm

PATTERN NOTE
These socks are worked cuff-down. The instructions are written using the magic loop method with a circular needle.
N1 is the needle for calf, heel and sole, and N2 for shin and instep.

Choose between Basic type and Ruffle type, and start knitting the cuff in the round.

On the leg, Stitch Markers Stitch is worked on N2 and Stockinette stitch on N1, then the heel are worked back and forth only on N1. Stitches are then picked up stitches along both sides of the heel to create a gusset, then the foot is worked in the round again.

On N1, while continuing in Stockinette stitch, stitches are decreased every 2 rnds to shape the gusset, and N2’s stitches are also worked in Stockinette stitch.

Finally, the toe is grafted using Kitchener stitch.

When working in the round, you are assumed to slip the BORM even if the pattern doesn't provide the specific instructions for this.
