1 x US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle (32” / 80 cm)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

With US 1 (2.25 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle,
34 sts & 40 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch

Pattern Note
These socks are worked from cuff-down. The instructions are written using the magic loop method with a circular needle.
It is worked from the cuff down in the round, then Patchwork Stitch is worked over the leg, changing CCs every 4 rounds. The heel is worked back and forth in MC only, then stitches are picked up along the heel flap with CC to be worked in the round again. Quilt Stitch is worked over the foot, changing CC every 4 rounds. The toe is knit in MC only, and the toes stitches are grafted using Kitchener stitch.

4周毎にCCを変えて編む. かかとはMCのみで往復編みをし, CCをつけてまちを拾い, 再び輪編みでQuilt Stitchを4周毎にCCを変えて編む. つま先はMCのみで編み, 最後はメリヤスはぎでとじる.
