With US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle,
32 sts & 44 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette
stitch
44 sts & 52 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in K3, P1 rib

PATTERN NOTE
The socks are worked cuff-down and in the
round, using the magic loop method on a
circular needle.

Starting at the cuff, the ribbing is worked in the
round, then the short row technique is used to
turn the work and to proceed to the leg.

For the heel, the stitches are divided into N1
and N2, and the heel is worked back and forth
on N1 only.

Stitches are picked up along the heel edges
then the sock is worked in the round again. N1
stitches are worked in Stockinette stitch with
decreases to shape the gusset while N2
continues the rib pattern.

After the gusset, the foot is worked even. Then,
the toe is shaped using short rows on N1
stitches only, and joined with the stitches on
N2 using the Kitchener stitch.

パターンノート
カフダウンで, 輪針のマジックループを使用した方法でサンプルの編み方を解説している.

履き口から輪でゴム編み, 引き返し編みで編み地を返し, レッグを編む.

かかとはN1とN2に目を分け, N1のみを往復編みで作る.

かかとの目を拾い, 再び輪編みをしながらN1ではメリヤス編みと減らし目, N2ではゴム編みを続け, マチを作る.

マチから続けてフットを編み, N1のみ引き返し編みでつま先を編み, N2の目と一緒に引き抜きはぎでとじる.
